Millions of people have walked at least some section of the 630 mile coast path which surrounds the wonderful South West of England. One day, whilst walking a section of this, Mark Pugh, lead pastor at Rediscover Church in Exeter had an impression of this path hosting a large prayer gathering - he saw a picture of believers from all church traditions gathered at the same time on each of the 630 miles and praying together in unity that God’s Kingdom would come in the South West.

At first it felt like a crazy idea, but he began to share it with some friends and their response carried such a sense of enthusiasm that he began to share it with more people. This resulted in a steering group being appointed who represent various ministries and churches in the South West, who all carry a sense of excitement about what could happen if this were to take place.

Over the last few months many leaders and churches have said they want to be part of this innovative prayer initiative and a date was set for it to take place on 19th June 2021. It is our prayer that not only will each of the mile points have participating praying people but that our unity, prayers and worship will be heard not only around the South West but also in heaven - that we will see God’s Kingdom come in the South West and usher in a spiritual awakening in our generation.
